The mine can function similar to an anti-personnel S-mine by projecting the inner chemical container before the latter explodes; it can also function by ground burst. The mines are packed 4 per wooden case along with 4 clock-work time fuzes (delay 0 - 5 minutes). A light red band is marked diagonally across the packing case label. The chemical filling is a mixture of a blister gas and a lung irritant. |
