Panzerwerfer 42

This vehicle serves as a carrier for a ten barrel rocket projector and ammuni-tion.

There are no markings of identification value.

The rocket launcher (15 cm Nebelwerfer-Zehnling 42) has 10 barrels mounted in a bank of two rows. The barrel assembly is supported by a yoke which allows the weapon to be rotated through 360 degrees and pernits an elevation of 45 degrees. The weapon is fired electrically.

The vehicle is a two ton Opel-Maultier semi-tracked chassis with an over-all length of 19.7 feet and weighs four tons when empty. The track are fitted with 5 bogie wheels each, and "T" shaped bogie wheel brackets.
