This apparatus serves the same purpose as the other smoke spray apparati described in this section, namely, to screen large areas.

The two reservoirs are marked: "NB 80/2".

This apparatus consists of two inter-connected 20 gallon reservoirs of smoke acid and a cylinder of compressed air. The reservoirs are 15 inches in diameter and 5 feet high and are mounted on three channe iron legs. One of the reservoires is connected to the cylinder of compressed air and the other tank is fitted with the electrically controlled val-ve. The supply of smoke acid is replenished in the reservoirs by pumping it in from the standard drums of "Nebelsäure". This model of smoke sprayer is usually controlled electri-cally in groups of eight.
